Bio

Axel Lukkien began his career in the 1990s as a composer for international commercials. Since then, he has written music for corporate films, theatre productions, radio shows, and numerous children’s songs.
He has released two solo albums of Dutch-language pop music. From 2004 to 2018, he composed music for television shows on Dutch national TV, including Het Klokhuis, Sesamstraat, De Dokter Corrie Show, and Welkom in de Gouden Eeuw.
In 2024/2025, he composed the score for the film Kain, which premiered on October 17, 2025, at the Woodstock Film Festival.
